Case Study
MeetStrangers
An anonymous live video and text chat platform for instantly connecting strangers worldwide.

The Product
MeetStrangers is a live communication platform focused on instant random matching through video and text chat. The product is designed around anonymity, speed, and frictionless onboarding, allowing users to start chatting without creating an account.
The Problem
Traditional social and chat platforms often require lengthy onboarding, persistent identities, and heavy profile setup, which creates friction for users who want spontaneous conversations and lightweight social discovery.
Solution
We created a real-time communication product that removes sign-up friction, matches users instantly, and emphasizes anonymous interaction. Privacy-first UX, moderation controls, and a fast matching loop were prioritized to keep the experience accessible and safe.
Architecture
The platform uses a real-time matchmaking layer, session-based communication state, and peer-to-peer media handling for live video experiences. The app coordinates matchmaking, temporary identity handling, reporting signals, and moderation workflows while keeping the front-end experience responsive across devices.
